Step 5. Difference Between Busy and Productive.

Right about now, you are probably asking, "where is my step-by-step plan to success?"

Right about now, you are probably asking, "where is my step-by-step plan to success?"

Others may be starting to connect the dots of why we are covering these basic. And if you are not connecting the dots, that is okay; just keep reading. Step away. Come back and reread it all. Eventually, it will click. It doesn't mean you won't be less successful if you don't get it right away. Actually, the folks questioning this right now will probably be the more successful. That is if they don't give up.

Some people are just quitters, they don't really want what's in that vision board. They say they do, but we all honestly know that they will try, give up, and move on to the next thing. While others have gone through the ringers, and they just don't believe in themselves or others. They have been deeply disappointed in the past and don't want to go through that agin. They have more or less given up on life. Which is sad. I know a few folks like that; no matter how hard I try, they just don't want to try anymore.

So what does this have to do with "Busy and Productive"?

The Cultural Values of America.

The American culture values looking busy. Saying you are busy, you are overworked and undervalued. Putting in your time, not worrying about the output as long as there isn't an obvious mistake. Also, don't think too much or try too hard. But most importantly, keep looking busy to keep the boss from asking questions. It is a game that all employees play.

The employers know employees play this game, and guess what? They are completely okay with it as long as no one complains. They don't want the employees to think either, just follow the instructions and don't say a word to the customers. The reason behind that is that they don't want you asking questions and discovering the truth. That they are the fat that takes the value that you created without offering much in return.

It is a very lame game that you will need to come to grips with and give up. But like everything else we covered, it is hard to let go.

Deprogramming.

We have been programmed by society to blur the line between facts and emotions. Emotions will tell us that you'll never be able to do it. They lead you to that next distraction that will suck your time away and money away. Which is peddling excuses until that next paycheck. It is a well-crafted trap that is difficult to escape.

To be successful, you have to realize you are stuck in a seemingly inescapable trap. One that is escapable, if you try.

The Retro 168, Hit-lists, and Vision Board are facts. That vision board is the fact of what you want in your life. The Hit List is the fact around what you need to get done. The Retro 168 is the facts how you invested your only tradable asset, time. Simple numbers. Simple facts. This is the winning mindset.

On the Hefe platform, being productive means signing people up. Signing up businesses, homeowners, workers, and more. Helping them get that first job posted and filled. If you are not signing folks up, you are not productive. You are simply busy dreaming and but not getting results. Excuses that keep you employed as an employee, but does not make you a success on this platform.

Stop being a poor person caught up in the lies of modern society. Start becoming measurably productive. Robert Kiyosaki sums it up well in the rich versus poor mindset.

Once you stop being poor, now you need to learn how to close.
