Team Openings

We are an untraditional tech company. Likewise we like to hire untraditional folks that like to get things done. Our process is simple, send us your Github, portfolio, etc of your best work. If we see something special, eye popping, we will reach out to you and validate your skills. You know, a coding or design test.

After you pass that, then maybe we’ll look at your resume but probably not. Instead we’ll ask you to do “try outs” with the team and take on a small coding project or two. From there we will assess if you fit the team. Likewise you can assess if you want to be on this team. This is not a job, we don’t want a corporate drone. We want passionate folks that solve problems and makes the world a better place.

Of course we pay competitive rates with unlimited potential. If you do 10x the work and it results in 100x measurable the customer benefit. Well you should be rewarded for that effort. Nothing stinks more than slogging long hours for months and getting a $500 bonus while the executives get a seven figure bonus based on your work. We have been there more than once.

We are also an all remote team. If can be working in Hawaii, Japan, out of an RV in the middle of no where. We don’t care so long as you get your story points knocked out and don’t make careless mistakes.

Oh, one last thing. You gotta tell us something amazing that you did that succeeded (or failed). Not amazing like “I saved someone’s life” or “I got accepted in XYZ School” while yeah that is cool…we want something that took an amazing amount of planning, discipline, ingenuity, and/or self control to accomplish. It has to more than just following instructions (like going to school). This better be a good story, something that moves us.

Vue Frontend Developer.

We use Vuetify Framework. Full stop. Not interested in anything else right now. You should be extremely proficient with Vuetify. Please send us your GitHub, not your resume. If we like what we see, we’ll ask you to do a quick coding test just to make sure you are who you say you are. We will like to know a short list of projects you did in Vuetify and your role. No sense beating around the bush.

Frontend Designer.

As you sense from above. It is simple, throw us your very best portfolio and designs. The crazier the better. Heck, you can log into the app yourself and propose to us how you’d redesign the experience given the limitations of Vuetify and other frameworks. Don’t worry, we are not going expect you to work for free. If it is really mind blowing stuff that isn’t already in our roadmap, we’ll talk and figure something out with you. Fair is Fair, right? Just know, where we are given the resources on hand isn’t where we want to be. That future interface we want is something that doesn’t exist today.

Native Mobile App Developer.

The future version of our platform will need to be native to iOS and Android given what we want to do. Like every other job here, show us your best work. Let me be completely honest, most samples submitted look terrible, like you took a class or watched a Youtube video on how to create your first app. Sorry, we are not looking for you and we will NOT reply to you. We are looking for someone special. Someone that will help us push the boundaries of what is possible in a mobile app. Because where we are headed looks nothing like where we are today.

Marketing Designer.

Everyone thinks they are a designer. Most design work we see on a regular basis seems is cookie cutter stuff. and yeah, most of the work is cookie cutter work. But where we are today is NOT where we want to be tomorrow. So WOW us. I mean truly WOW us with something that says you are an original. When you can go to Coroflot and honestly say you are better than the best there. Then let’s talk. If you are just learning and aspire to be the best, well just show it. Like the front end designer, learn what we do and propose something that gets to think, wow, we really need this person on the team, yesterday.

Media Producer.

We are planning to get into the field more to tell real stories of real people once this Covid thing settles down. You gotta to be a good visual story teller through video, stills and editing. Able to empathize with anyone of any walk of life and make them more human than human. Like every other opportunity, you have to shows us your work. The work has to make us go wow. It has to make everyone that watches it go wow. So us your craft, show us your rig, make us believe.

Social.

This means a lot of things to a lot of people. Tell us what it means to you. Show us what it means to you. How you can craft the social narrative at massive scale across multiple languages. This is more than just posting stuff, this is strategy and dynamics at an entirely new scale. If you don’t get what we are after, maybe you should apply your skills in our agent program.
