Since 2016, we have led the effort to bring technology to those that need it the most, the hard working Americans that make this country a really awesome place.
What We Believe
We firmly believe in building a better country by creating stronger communities through more opportunities and better income. We are accomplish this through enabling individuals to market their skills in new and more creative ways that goes beyond the classic hourly employment models.
But more, it is about fairness and economic equality.
Our competitors routinely take 30-70% of each dollar spent out of struggling communities to line the pockets of folks in Wall Street and in the Silicon Valley. Every dollar that leaves those communities will never come back, draining those communities of their life blood, and their future.
As a company, we are a bit different. We have long maintained the “no outside investor” model so that we are not influenced to make decisions that goes against our core beliefs. Instead, we are free to focus how we can ensure that 95% of each dollar spent on our platform, stays in the communities we are helping. Every dollar that stays in that community goes to create another job.
Join us to help redefine the free market system in this new economy. Creating a bright new America where every community across this great land prospers and grows. Where people are happy, prices are fair and the work is good.
This new future is completely possible and will happen because we will make it happen together.
Origins of Hefe
Originally we were founded as Kuote, an intelligent construction estimation app which took all the complexity out of creating extremely professional quotes and contracts. Digitizing vast amounts of learned experiences of the best and brightest construction professions. Leveling the playing field, while enabling everyone to instantly operate as well as seasoned pro. But as we worked with our customers, they kept telling us their biggest problem was with finding skilled workers to work the jobs they had available. Nothing really solved their problems, which drove us to create Hefe. One thing lead to another.
Hefe being the Americanize version of Jefe, which means Boss in Spanish. Which for the non-Spanish speakers they don’t know how to pronounce the ‘J’ in Jefe which is an “H”. So to avoid the constant mispronunciations of Jefe, we switch out the J for an H.
We also discovered that we were not only helping the ‘boss’ find skilled workers, but also enable those highly skilled workers to take control of their own schedule and earn more. Working side hustles, working on days off and with the economy being the way it is with virus, just working to make ends meet. The platform has evolved to become more, much more than when we originally started.
Everyday we are thankful and proud to support the Americans that make this country what it is, an amazing place to live and thrive.
