“That is what I am doing right now!” is your first thought.
Right now, you are trying to figure out what this is and if it will fit you as an affiliate or if you want to work jobs as they come up. The app is rich with features, as you have seen. And there is plenty of ways of applying the platform, as you saw in the Stories section. Now it is all about learning how to make an affiliate business work for you. Some of you already know what it is to be an affiliate. For others, this is entirely new as a concept.
Let me warn you upfront.
In today's world, you don't spend a single dime on learning. There are mountains of free information on how to do anything and everything. Paying for it does not make sense. If someone is selling you access to a "master class" or a "sure-fire system," it means that the system does not work. If it was as profitable as they said it was, would they honestly be telling anyone about it? If you struck it rich, would you tell others where your gold claim was? So basically, you are paying for the entertainment value.
As you will discover, there is plenty of great free content on YouTube. Great personalities that give away all the information you need. Folks like Graham Stephan, who went from almost zero dollars to amassing $13M in assets by the time he was 30. His videos are paid for by the advertisers, which he makes a healthy amount of money from, more than $40K a month. Graham is only of many that you will find that gives hugely valuable information for free. You'll also find that his message and those of every successful person will be consistent with what I write here and is summarized in step 10 very well. Just do it.
No Getting Rich Quick.
Just so we are clear, there are no "get rich programs" that will make you a millionaire overnight: period, end of the statement. Every truly wealthy individual I know took many years to build up their wealth. Each has a different definition of wealth and success. All of them have the freedom of zero debt and enough passive income to fund their lifestyle. Just don't get sucked in by folks selling snake oil. If it sounds too good to be true, well, you know what that means.
The mindset you are after here is learning from those that have the clear indicators of success. Most folks do not know a single successful person in their lives. That is just a fact of life. Everyone they know around them will not have anything to help them become successful. Those folks do the opposite of helping you. They will give you every reason you will not be successful, why you will fail. They will help to ensure that you stay in the position you are currently in. To never rise up out of your current situation. You find that you will have to change your friends or change your friends. That is, help them become better or make new friends.
The point of the content on YouTube, Audiobooks, Podcasts, etc., is that you can access countless successful people that will mentor you virtually through their content. The lessons they give are not what is taught in school. The lessons we all hated to learn because of the utility of what we learned was not great—taught by folks that themselves were unremarkable. As the saying goes, "Those that do, do; those that can't teach."
Just a Reminder.
Let me reiterate one more time about giving money to scams artists to learn. Because you probably don't honestly know a single successful person personally, much less receive mentorship from them, it will be tough to distinguish the real deal from the fakes. Folks like Tai Lopez made their money by "faking it until you make it". Selling programs that didn't work to folks that thought he was really successful. Truth is, he rented out mansions, exotic cars, hiring models, etc to make it appear he was as wealthy as he claimed in his advertising. This long con works. Just don't give them your money. At least not when you can't afford to do so. Keep that $20 or $100 in your pocket. Buy your kid ice cream; it will be better spent, and you'll get a smile out of it.
One last thing on learning, it is perhaps the most important thing is DO NOT get stuck in analysis paralysis. That is spending all your hours learning and not doing. I have mentored many folks on a 1:1 basis and have seen so many of them get stuck by being way too smart. They fail to launch because they are too smart, which translates to being too risk-averse. While the so-called "not smart" or "not educated" individuals have so much more success as they don't spend a huge amount of time thinking, they do just enough then roll-up their sleeves and do the work.
Now let's get to the reason why you are learning—your incentive system.
